Event and Membership Coordinator. International Association of Public Transport Australia/New Zealand.

This is a 12-month fixed term role which will see you make a real impact by coordinating membership administration activities and providing event/logistics coordination for a varied events programme for UITP (International Association of Public Transport) in the Australia/New Zealand region (known as UITPANZ).

UITPANZ is the leading public transport industry association in the region. We’re a member-based association that engages with government, industry and research institutions to promote public transport. We're located in Docklands, Melbourne however we support flexible working practices and hours. Some interstate travel will be required. We’re looking for someone with events and project coordination and/or administration experience. Professional development is supported and encouraged.

Ideal candidates will have lots of initiative, great interpersonal and writing skills (need to be effective on the phone and also write great emails!), be highly organised and love coordinating event activities!

Key Accountabilities: Work with the General Manager, Operations and Engagement and the Marketing and Events Manager to support the full events programme of the Association. Plan and deliver events and logistics coordination activities under direction. Deliver membership engagement and administration activities, including invoicing, liaison and meeting coordination. Provide project planning and coordination support.

Support the Executive Director with membership liaison and team travel coordination. Other duties as directed.
