Electrician, Ogden Power, $35.00 - $45.00 Hourly rate. Due to the increased workload we are looking for join our team.

Primary responsibilities: The role: installing electrical equipment for grid-tie, grid-tie with battery back-up and independent renewable energy systems; controllers and electrical systems on industrial diesel generators. Mechanical installation & commissioning of solar panels on the roof and ground-mounted systems.

Requirements: Australian/NZ Electrical Licence. Australian drivers licence – manual. Experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems, preferably with solar experience. Ability to access from a ladder and work on a roof. Fault finding of renewable energy and generator systems. Physically fit & agile. Team player who can think outside of the square. Have a desire to learn new skills. Enthusiasm. Can work from drawings and follow verbal instructions. Service work on remote systems is required. General warehouse work, packing for bush projects, some stock control.

Will need to be available to work out of town and stay out bush till completion of job. Comfortable to work in a small company directly with the working owners. Customer service skills. Liaise with clients, discussing requirements of equipment and placement, managing project expectations. All of our team are passionate about alternative power. We are a small but busy company, established as a leader in our field from 2006. We work closely together, but want our employees to use their initiative and skills in project implementation after appropriate training.
