About the role: The Service Support team is central to supporting service operations within Anglicare WA. The Service Support team ensures clients can access services in ways that are person centred, trauma informed, safe, responsive and convenient. They also provide place based site support services, including facilities management, meeting logistics and administrative support.

The Service Support team plays a vital role in ensuring clients are referred to appropriate services within Anglicare WA.  The team is also pivotal in contributing to outcomes measurement and are responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of data entry.

This is a fixed term part time opportunity (20 hours per week) based in our Karratha office.

About you: You are a passionate and talented individual who is driven to deliver quality services to our clients.

To be successful in this role you will be/have: Qualification in community services, or related discipline and/or relevant experience. Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to a wide range of clients in need of assistance. Be skilled at assisting clients in distress, including the use of de-escalation techniques. Demonstrated ability to efficiently identify client needs, assess risk and prioritise accordingly. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Well-developed computer skills (MS Word, MS Outlook, client management system). Financial management skills to issue invoices and receipt money. Ability to prioritise, plan work and maintain accurate records. Ability to be flexible, demonstrate initiative  and work effectively under pressure in a team environment.

Benefits: $62,833 – $66,014 per annum pro rata + 9.5% superannuation. In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 per annum and not pay tax on that amount. Additional 3 days (pro-rata) leave per year. Remote location allowances, including rent and electricity subsidies (subject to T & C’s) Access to purchase leave.
