Retail Sales Assistant, Jono & Johno, Ballarat & Central Highlands, Salary $50,000 - $54,999. Jono & Johno is a leading importer and retailer in the Australian outdoor power machinery sector.

The company operates two retail stores in Ballarat and Warracknabeal as well as a thriving online business. Jono & Johno places great emphasis on providing a safe and friendly workplace. Jono & Johno Ballarat is seeking a permanent full time retail assistant to join their team.

The successful candidate will be working in our retail showroom. 34 to 37.5 hours per week, depending on if you are working the Saturday. The successful candidate will be required to work two to three Saturdays per month.

 Retail responsibilities: Serving customers. Learning our full product range. Recommending correct parts for chainsaws, mowers and all other outdoor power equipment. Receiving and entering stock. Cleaning, restocking, facing and all other general retail duties. Depending on capabilities we may also require the successful candidate to assist in developing the Ballarat web store. The successful applicant must Be able to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment. Have basic computer knowledge. Be professional and reliable. Show attention to detail. Be able to prioritize and multitask. Have good communication skills. Hold a current driver’s licence

Training provided but experience in a related industry will be looked upon favourably. The candidate will also be expected to be self-motivated in learning our product range and studying related reference materials.

Spare parts experience. Retail experience. Experience with computers. $50,195 per annum + annual leave + leave loading + sick leave.
