Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Certified Professional Purchaser (CPP) accreditation
Experience: 5 years or more
Staff Responsibility: 1 - 20
Budgetary Responsibility: $1,500,001 - $4,000,000
Work Setting: Manufacturing
Specific Skills: Plan, organize and direct daily operations, Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures, Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs, Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services, Authorize the development of specifications for products or services, Manage contracts, Review and process claims against suppliers, Oversee the analysis of data and information, Advise senior management
Other Information:Single source supplier of integrated solutions in the areas of oil and natural gas production, processing, and power generation. Ensure alignment of consistent SAP procurement practices
