Student Advisor/ Student Services Advisor (Part time 0.5 FTE), Online Education Services, Online Education Services (OES).

The role: Day-to-day the Student Advisor/ Student Services Advisor is the first point of contact for students via phone, email and web chatter, dealing with a range of queries or issues. These include general academic advice, emotional support, technical assistance as well as enquiries relating to courses and University processes. Additionaly, this role provides end to end administrative support throughout the Student journey, right from enrolment through to graduation.

The Student Advisor team is built on a solid foundation of trust, teamwork, empathy and quality service. They are there to support our students and each other with a balance of fun and professionalism, with team building activities, on-going training and personal development a key part of their success.

Individuals are carefully selected from various backgrounds, life experience, and skills but are all bound by a sense of dedication to providing quality support to our students. What you'll bring: Previous experience in an administrative role at an Education provider is a must. A minimum bachelor level degree. Previous experience within a customer service focused role. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work within a structured role, but also show initiative. A solution focused approach with a pro-active attitude to supporting students. Team centricity and a can do attitude. Availability for different shift patterns (see below).

This role is 0.5 (5 days per fortnight), and you must be available to work shifts across the following hours: Mon-Fri 8am-9pm (AEST), and weekends and public holidays from 10am-6pm (AEST). Penalty rates apply for weekends and public holidays. Shifts vary week to week on a rotating roster, and consist of the following: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 11:45am-8:30pm & 1pm-9pm.

Although this role is predominately part time, there is an expectation that during peak periods you are able to flex up to full time hours. Additionally during the training period (first 3-4 weeks) you will be required to attend full time.
