ABOUT THE COMPANY: Oceania Aviation Services is an Australian owned leading Ground Handling Company providing services such as, but no limited to, customer Check-in, baggage handling, and aircraft cleaning to major Australian Airlines. Our customers include Malindo Air, Malaysian Airlines, Qantas, QantasLink, Jetstar, Virgin Australia, Air North, Alliance and Skytrans spanning 14 airports employing over 350 dedicated employees throughout Australia and Samoa.

ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Customer Service Agent, you represent our Airline customers. You will be responsible for greeting customers in a friendly, professional and courteous manner. You will ensure that a customer's journey starts in a relaxed and positive way by being helpful, equally respectful to all customers and by anticipating customer needs.  

YOUR DUTIES: Greeting customers with a smile at Check-in. Processing and checking travel documents meet requirements. Assigning seats on the aircraft. Preparing and issuing boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers. Gate boarding. Passenger Marshalling. Disruption Management.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: Customer centric focusing on delivering exceptional service. Positive and optimistic view. Learning oriented. Insightful and practical minded. Excellent level of health and fitness for handling customer baggage and wheelchairs. Excellent personal presentation and deportment. Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Unrestricted Driver’s License. Eligible for an Aviation Security Identification Card. Pass Drug and Alcohol & Audio tests.

DESIREABLES: A second language skill. Able to work in a team environment. Limited restrictions on the ability to work a 7-day rotating roster. 15 - 20 hours per week.
