Construction Labourer and Helper
Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Full Time, Day
Salary: $10.50 to $15.50 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Debert, Nova Scotia (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 3 or D), Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, WHMIS Certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Type of Construction: Industrial, commercial and institutional
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Bobcats, Circular saws, Sledgehammers, Drills, Trampers (Jumping Jack)
Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Specific Skills: Assist heavy equipment operators, Assist in demolishing buildings
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Dusty
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Willing to travel overnight, Valid driver's licence
