Student Administration Officer, Sydney, Ryde & Macquarie Park. Salary Package:  From (the pro-rata equivalent of) $83,478 to $92,146 per annum, plus 17% employer’s superannuation and annual leave loadin. Appointment Type: Continuing, part-time (4 days/week). Macquarie University (North Ryde) location.

The Role: The Student Administration Officer will facilitate all aspects of the student life cycle, providing expert advice and support on student administration systems, policies, procedures and processes. The successful candidate will liaise with Faculty and central Student Administration staff to resolve student cases as well as contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and services.

About You: Ideally you will have experience working in student administration within tertiary education. You will have a strong drive to provide high quality customer service and enjoy interacting with others to provide solutions. You will have well developed time management skills, utilising technology well, and able to handle a busy workload. You are the sort of person who enjoys reading and interpreting policies and procedures and are easily able to convey detailed information to others in a clear and concise manner.

Essential: Demonstrated understanding of student administration processes

Demonstrated interpersonal skills with proven ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people using tact, discretion and confidentiality

Demonstrated experience working in student administration and providing complex advice and support to students

Advanced knowledge and expertise in the Microsoft Office suite, student administration systems and web-based technology

Proven experience with high volume workloads, delivering results within tight timeframes
