Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg, Job Type: Full-Time. Senior Installations Technician – Johannesburg

Organisation Activity: We are a nationally based company that specialises in the design, manufacturing and installation of custom designed, locally manufactured adjustable louvered timber and aluminium security shutters.

Job role and purpose: We seek an appropriate candidate for the position of Installation Technician based in the Johannesburg area. The function of the candidate will be to install our product in our client’s homes and businesses as well as maintain and service existing installations on a full-time, daily basis.

You will be required to facilitate and complete the full installation of our product for each of our highly valued clients. You will be required to work well as a team but also portray quality leadership skills within your areas of responsibility. You will be required to facilitate the work assigned to you but also ensure that your installation team performs as a well-managed unit throughout the installation. You will be required to drive the company branded vehicle to site ensuring that the client’s consignment is carefully transported and then installed. You will be responsible for taking care of the installation tools assigned to your team and ensuring that they are in top condition before starting each installation.

You will be required to hand over a completed installation to the client, with full confidence that you have installed the shutters to the highest standards. From time to time you will be required to work overtime, which will be agreed to by both yourself and management either ahead of time or in some cases in the immediate.

Must be brand aware and naturally able to fit within the organisations brand directions and goals. Must be proactive in all communications to management. Must express genuine interest in all facets of your assigned responsibilities. Technical experience mandatory. Drivers licence mandatory.
