Rocking 2IC/Senior Manager Wanted, Location: Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands, Job Type: Full-Time. Rocomamas Stellenbosch has a position available for a senior manager/2nd In Charge with the potential for loads of growth.

RocoMamas is know for "not normal" and we don't expect this role to be anything less. Salary is negotiable based on experience and is market related. Preference will be given to those with franchise experience or Spur Brand experience.

Due to this role being of this senior, the following is non-negotiable experience to be accepted for an interview: 2years+ experience in a restaurant management position. Experience in a high volume setting. Knowledge about driving sales and meeting financial goals. Results driven individual with demonstrated record of prior success. Prior Financial experience - Budgets - Meeting targets. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a leadership role with employees, guests, vendors and others. Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software. Ability to use restaurant-specific point of sale systems. ie, Pilot.

Essential Functions: Manages all daily restaurant operations. Verifies appropriate food safety, food handling and food storage procedures are followed. Maintains high quality standards for food preparation and service. Ensures restaurant cleanliness and organization present a positive image. Oversees purchasing for food, equipment and other necessary supplies, including vendor sourcing, negotiating and procurement. Schedules and inspects food and supply deliveries. Establishes and maintains appropriate security protocols for guest, employee and facility safety.

Follows and enforces company policies and procedures. Ensures guest satisfaction. Ability to meet financial goals, including sales targets as well as budgeting and cost-control measures. Timely completion of all financial obligations and reporting, including payroll, payables, receivables, etc. Ensures sufficient staffing levels, including day-to-day shifts and ongoing staffing plans. Recruiting, screening, interviewing and selecting applicants. Employee training and development, including new-hire orientation and ongoing. Employee performance management, including feedback, mentoring, coaching and discipline as warranted. Sets an appropriate leadership example for personnel. Other duties as necessary for successful and efficient operations. Please include previous salary, references, salary expectations and head and shoulder photo.
