Asian Content Specialist Dubai
Salary: 8,000 To 10,000 Monthly (AED)
Qanawat has a need for a smart, experienced Content Specialist to be responsible for creating, producing, acquiring and promoting Asian (Bollywood) music content that will contribute to Qanawats list of products and services. Ideally you will have got your experience working in the music industry, preferably with a bias to copyright management or label management. What is essential is you should be sharp, a great communicator, be able to pick things up quickly, have great judgment, be hands-on about everything you do, be a top problem solver with excellent follow-up skills, be a self-starter and pay excellent attention to detail.
Management of Content Providers (existing and prospects), Content Marketing and Market Intelligence:
Prospect in the market for possible Content Providers (Music Aggregators, Artists and Labels) according to the requirements established by the Commercial Manager.Produce the reports to recommend Content Providers to be partnered in response to market dynamics.Periodically assess existing Content Providers by analysing sales information and historical information.Provide the suitable recommendations to the Commercial Manager for terminating partnership agreement or negotiating better conditions with eligible content providers.Maintain a positive, collaborative and productive relationship with existing content providers.Producing regular reports on the market including content providers activity, roadmap of new releases (by region /genre / Content provider).Identify market opportunities while providing strategies on how to capitalize and red-flag on market while providing strategies to counter reactions.Maintain a database of our Content Providers, with full personal and professional details to be used for Marketing and promotional purposes.Plan and execute new releases promotional activities with Content Providers with a focus on best utilization of their existing platforms, web properties and reach.Plan and execute exclusivity deals for premium content with our customers ensuring well negotiated barters and deals.
Content delivery:
Select the suitable contents of a specific category/genre to be delivered to our customers including service-operators and online music retailers according to sales information, ongoing market trends/dynamics, and the recommendations and directives provided by the Commercial Manager.Assist Service Coordinators in the generation of service status reports.Suggest possible improvements to Service Coordinators to increase quality of service, customer satisfaction, and maximize products and services usage (increase downloads and subscribers). Solve incidents and requests according to scope of work and delivery procedures (for example: generate new content package as requested by customer).
Educated to degree level preferably within a digital media or music environment.
Highly creative and full of ideas.
Analytical, with the ability to interpret information, news and data quickly in order to extract the most important and relevant information.

Excellent understanding and experience of the Asian music market, excellent follow through of the latest and most trending Asian music releases, and strong relationships with big content providers is an asset.
