Location: Hermanus, Overberg, Job Type: Full-Time. Our client is looking for a PHP Web Developer to join their team! The perfect candidate will be responsible for developing web applications using PHP Laravel framework. Be involved in the design, development and deployment of applications. The company specialises in the financial services space. The successful candidate will most likely be deployed on a system built for the courier / parcel tracking market.

Requirements: At least 2 years development experience in PHP. At least 1 year experience with Laravel framework. Any exposure to the Laravel ecosystem tools a big plus, especially Laravel Nova and Laravel Forge. Some experience developing APIs (REST / Webservices). Understanding of the following: HTML5, CSS. Database development (SQL / T/SQL) – we mostly use MySQL  / MariaDB. Any exposure to javascript frameworks a plus – preferably Vue.js.
