Assistant General Manager, Location: Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands. National Restaurant Group requires an Assistant General Manager for their Stellenbosch store. Candidates must have at least 5 years experience in an Operations role in an upmarket restaurant. No Fast Food, orQSR candidates will be considered. Upmarket clientele require your hands on attention, and you will assist the GM to be fully responsible for all restaurant operations.

Quality control, staff management, stock control and sourcing and ordering from suppliers are some of the challenges you will face in your daily routine. Training and enforcing standards set by the group will mean that you answer directly to Head Office for targets, food cost, planning and forecasting and budgeting.

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked overseas, have not changed jobs often, and who understand the Stellenbosch clientele and can add value to the patrons. The Group offers Career growth in the industry, promotes from within and pays top salaries.
