Living Quarters Delivery Manager

We are currently seeking a high caliber Living Quarters Delivery Manager to join our client first in their St. John’s office and later on-site in the local area. Our client for this role is one of the largest EPCM companies in the world. The primary responsibility for the LQ Delivery Manager is EPC delivery of the LQ through management of the LQ EPC subcontract.
Responsibilities:
 Assisting in the project initiation activities and in preparation of the Project Execution Plan.
 LQ Subcontract Invitation to Tender (ITT’s), Negotiation, Award and mobilization.
 Focal point for the EPC LQ Design and Build Engineering Procurement & Construction subcontract.
 Managing the above activities to ensure compliance with the Scope of Work and quality objectives of the project.
 Management of all aspects of the Sub-Contractors engineering, Procurement, Construction and Mechanical Completion scope.
 Establish and lead the Contractor’s LQ team.
 Responsible for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction schedules.
 Leading and coordinating all technical reviews both with stakeholders and internally within the project.
 Coordinating between IP-engineering and IP-procurement
 Enforcing the management of project change process within the technical team.
 Responsible for all Contractors reporting on the progress of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of the LQ module.
 Responsible for Delivery of the LQ module in accordance with the agreed budget and schedule
 Forecasting final costs, identifying trends and taking action to avoid cost and schedule overruns.
 Leading the SSH & E programs for the LQ scope of the project.
 Team adherence to company policies and procedures.
 Managing all LQ labor relations issues.
Requirements:
 Bachelor of Science (Engineering) or Bachelor of Engineering degree
 15+ years of related Project Management and Accommodation Module experience including previous supervisory experience is required.
 Manages multiple functional disciplines; Develops and oversees implementation of strategic programs and policies for their groups, which will have impact on the overall organization;
 Broad knowledge of business operations and ability to implement and lead organizational change effectively; Solutions are derived from interpreted and applied general information and consultation with other individuals
 Ability to manage multiple complex projects through others; Works frequently with executive management on significant matters influencing the organizations business results, which typically include global strategies;
 Ability to effectively communicate and present complex program proposals and reports to executive level management and/or the Board
 Ability to persuade and influence others
 Participative management style with a cooperative team approach.
 Proven leadership skills in multi-cultural and possibly multi-national environments.
 Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment;
