We are looking for a young, enthusiastic DTP operator/designer who is new to the industry and looking to expand their knowledge and grow in an agency environment. The successful candidate must have a passion for design and an insatiable visual curiosity. You will need to be self-motivated and an independent thinker with an eye for detail and a thorough understanding of design principles.

Key responsibilities: You will be a key support to the design team assisting them in creating and delivering quality work.

You will be required to: Create designs, concepts and layouts based on a knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. Develop graphics, layouts and suggest improvements for marketing collateral (newsletters, brochures, emailers, flyers, invitations, social media artwork, PPT presentations, interactive PDFs and forms) whilst adhering to strict brand guidelines.

Understand each brand completely, in order to create brand-aligned collateral. Update and amend existing artwork. Check and ensure accuracy of artwork. Prepare artwork for print or online, ensuring correct format and size. Ability to work under pressure, balance several deadlines and deliver jobs on time correctly. Track time on Magnetic. Participate in brainstorms and conceptualising ideas. Develop advanced skills in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Develop skills in PPT and Word. Key requirements: A team player, able to take direction and collaborate. Able to listen and pose questions when discussing briefs. Keen to learn and willing to up skill. Mac literate. Experience in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Exceptional eye for layout and typography. Knowledge of the production and print process. Knowledge of various digital outputs. Graphic design diploma or relevant qualification.

 Advantageous: Video editing and animation. Basic photography. Photo retouching and editing. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
