Store Man and Backup Truck Driver (CPT) - Non-EE, Location: Brackenfell, Northern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. We are an established national transport company and will employ a full-time Warehouse Assistant, who will also be a backup/ stand-in truck driver as and when required. The successful candidate should ideally reside in Cape Town (northern suburbs), or be willing to relocate.

Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with the following responsibilities at our Cape Town warehouses: quality control of all warehouse operations in the Cape Town branch receiving, dispatching and overall shipment management accurate inventory management and administration of shipment and storage of freight safe stacking procedures and supervision of employees in the warehouses ensuring a neat and organised work environment, complying to health & safety standards local & surrounds office driver responsibilities as and when required backup/ stand-in truck driver responsibilities as and when required.

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12/ equivalent (a relevant tertiary qualification beneficial). 5 - 10 years work experience (warehouse experience ideal). At least 5 years truck driver experience. A code 10 (C1) drivers' license (EC1 and EC license beneficial). A valid pdp to transport goods and people is beneficial. Own reliable transport. Proficient verbal & written communication skills in Afrikaans & English. Computer literate and excellent administration skills. Any technical skills/ experience highly beneficial (woodwork, forklift, mechanical etc.) Willing to work every second weekend on rotation. Willing to work overtime as & when required.

Must be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail. Must be client-service orientated and solution-driven. Ideally reside in Cape Town (northern suburbs). Must have contactable references, NO job hoppers with be considered.

Package & Remuneration: R10000 to R15000 CTC, depending on skill and experience.
