C Sharp Senior Developer, Location: Sandton, Johannesburg, Job Type: Full-Time. Sandton based Company is looking for a C# Senior Developer Reporting – Excel BI (40 – 60 CTC)

Candidate needs to be familiar with and have demonstrable experience in: Working within C# solutions in Visual Studio. Working with source control (SVN preferred). Object Orientated Programming (Candidates who aren’t well experienced with OOP will not be considered). Working with high accuracy in large datasets. Working with complex LINQ queries. Testing own work for accuracy and stability. Optimising code. SQL Server querying. Strong experience with Advanced VBA with Microsoft Excel. Strong experience Advanced Microsoft Power Pivot.

The last two are non-negotiable, candidates must meet this requirement exactly, this is not a role for someone who has broad experience which included reporting. This is a focussed, specific position.

Skill sets that are not useful in this role: ANY front-end development or full stack focus, ASP, PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular etc.

Important: No full stack developers. No SharePoint developers. Internship or college work must not count towards work experience. Candidates must have been at their previous position for at minimum 3 years. Minimum experience is 5 years. Candidate must enjoy working with and presenting data Senior Level. No junior developers Candidates goals. Candidate should be seeking challenges in a rewarding dynamic environment. Employment History. Candidate should have a stable employment history and should not be changing jobs every 3 years (excluding contract roles).

Type of person Candidate needs to be able to communicate clearly, this needs to be a bright, smart person. Candidate needs to be a self-starter and should be able to follow instructions clearly and be able to complete tasks with minimal oversight. Candidate should be used to asking questions, investigating and understanding their project fully. Candidate should have demonstrable reliability.
