Sales Development Agent / Call Centre Professional – Outbound, Location: Other, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time. An exciting opportunity has become available for individuals looking to grow within a leading outbound call centre.

Our ideal candidate is a reliable professional with experience in the call centre industry or a background in outbound sales. The nature of the position will allow the ideal candidate to earn a viable income with additional incentives. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with exceptional communication skills to generate leads and provide our customers with a first-class service experience in a comfortable office environment.

Key Responsibilities: Achieve a daily & weekly lead target / quota by making outbound prospecting calls to clients. Maintaining first-class customer service which includes a pleasant, confident and helpful telephone manner. Good phone stamina with an average of 150+ calls a day. Ensure that you implement the training provided to you by the company. Manage your leads effectively and ensure that you achieve good conversion rates. Maintaining a sound knowledge and understanding of company products, insurer’s underwriting rules and a basic understanding of industry standards.

Maintain a professional image and always appear presentable as you will meet various executives. General Call Centre duties and administration tasks.

Requirements: Matric or equivalent qualification. A clear credit and criminal record. Minimum of 12 months unbroken Call Centre experience. Good communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English. Excellent computer skills are essential. Ability to take ownership of your leads and targets. Impeccable time management. Team player. Ability to handle stress.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 Saturdays 09:00 to 13:00 (If required)

Remuneration: During Training (1 Month) – Basic of R3500.00 After Training Basic of 3500.00 + Commission Various incentives and rewards offered based on results.
