Location: Other, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time. Looking for a vibrant person looking to work as a Coordinator/Driver in a Funeral Services Company. The person should be comfortable working or dealing with bereaved families, transporting the deceased and conducting funerals. The position is in Philippi, Cape Town.

Duties: Coordinates funerals - Drives hearse to transport bodies to mortuary for embalming and from mortuary to place of funeral service or interment. Helps Pallbearers to move casket from mortuary into hearse and from hearse to destination. Making sure availability of all funeral equipment prior to funeral and make sure that the corpse arrives on time at the place of burial. Assists casket bearers in moving deceased to place of funeral service or interment. Inspect and cleans vehicles before departing from garage to point of destination making sure that the tool kit and spare wheel is in good order.

Arrives at appointed destination on or before agreed upon time. Respects families by maintaining a code of confidence and limiting interaction to professional conversation. Answering customers’ questions, and provide information on procedures or policies. Other driving services as needed by location.

Job Requirements: Matric (Grade 12). Customer service experience. Driver’s Licence + PDP. Good communication in English and Xhosa. Experience in the industry will be advantageous.
