Scope of the Job Deals with cash payments, current plant expenses & supplier’s payments. Performs daily accounting functions, and assists in preparing the payroll and payment of staff salary.

Organization Section / Department: Accounts Reporting to: The Accounts Manager.

Responsibilities and Authority: General. Prepares petty cash slips for the payments as requested by concerned section/staff. Verifies and processes invoices for payment ensuring appropriate approvals and back up information are provided in accordance with authorization for expenditure or purchase order forms. Checks for discrepancies and researches errors to ensure accuracy in the invoices ( suppliers and cash). Prepares statement of supplier’s payments together with invoices for payment. Prepares the statement of plant’s current expenses for the payment of petty cash. Receives the cheques issued in favour of suppliers and asks them to collect their cheques.

Hands over the cheques to the suppliers against the receipt. Prepares the original receipts of the cheques and sends all of them to head Office.

Helps in preparing of payslips and distributes to the employees. 3.1.10 Assists in payment of cash salary and collects salary receipts. Keeps one photocopy of the documents in respecting files.

Performs other related duties as may be assigned. Systems and Procedures. Verifies the accuracy of bills and invoices and arranges for the timely amendment. Ensures proper authorization and documentation for disbursements. Prepares clear and comprehensive financial reports and statements.

Qualifications Index: Education Has B.S.C. Major in Banking & Finance. Work Experience and Related Skills 5-7 years of experience. Communication Skills, Leadership Skills. Must be highly proficient in the use of financial software’s sucj as Oracle, tally Etc. Interpersonal Skills, leadership/peoples skills etc Should be know UAE Vat policy.
