Location: Kuils River, Northern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. Our company is seeking to employ experienced air conditioning technicians & assistants to start immediately. The candidate must have FULL knowledge of installations, - VRF, VRV, Chillers & Rooftop Package.

Key Performance Areas: The mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnosing of equipment and control systems. The maintenance/servicing of equipment. The repair of equipment. Liaising with clients regarding requirements, quality and, completion of work. Completing technical service records.

Skills transfer/development of junior staff. Accurate administration w.r.t. Time sheets, vehicle records, etc. Active contribution to improvement of procedures, policies and productivity.

Conduct electrical and/or electronic tests on equipment and control systems. Strip equipment (if required) to determine faults. The maintenance/servicing and repair of equipment and control systems Conduct checks and testing.

Strip equipment (if required by contract). Replace and/or repair parts as per stipulated contract. Re-assemble equipment. Test equipment after service/repair. Liaising with clients regarding requirements, quality of work, and completion of work. Complete documentation for client signature.

Check with client regarding requirements, satisfaction and quality of work done. Record client requests. Submit requests to Administrative offices. Completing technical service records Ensure that all required technical documentation is available. On or during completion, complete Log sheets. Submit to manager on completion.

Recommended Experience: 3-5 years servicing and repairing HVAC equipment inclusive of central plant HVAC. 3-5 years experience supervising staff. Ability to work independently. Valid references. Valid drivers license. Skills and Knowledge. Advanced Technical Skills. Computer Literacy. Team working skills. Report Writing Skills. Diagnostic Skills.
