Crane service technician (Overhead Crane Service Technician)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's License (Class 1 or A), WHMIS Certificate
Experience: 5 years or more
Major Work Area: Repair, Overhaul, Maintenance, Service, Recondition
Type of Equipment Repair: Cranes
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Determine extent of repair required, Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, Test repaired equipment for proper performance, Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work, Verify and repair emission control systems
Additional Skills: Instruct apprentices, Keep maintenance reports and documentation, Welding experience
