Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school, Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, Air Brake Adjustment Certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports, Dangerous goods occurrence reports
Communication Equipment Experience: Citizens band (CB) radio, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Loading and unloading of goods, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Transport hazardous products or dangerous goods, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service
