Note, you may only drive a rental car (through an official rental agency) with an International Driver’s licence! If you are on a Visit Visa you can get a temporary divers licence which is valid for 6 months – subject to conditions; depending on your nationality and where your driver’s license was obtained you may be able to simply convert you current license to a UAE driver’s license. You still have to re-do an eye test though.
