General Manager Digital Marketing and Software Development

The role

•overall accountability for the performance of the company and continued business growth

•oversee, manage and develop the team and internal processes to create an efficient and effective operation and strong culture

•Manage, nurture and develop existing and new client relationships

•Attend face to face meetings with existing and prospective clients as and when required

•work alongside the digital marketing team to assist in strategizing and planning digital advertising campaigns for clients

•provide recommendations and make suggestions to help ensure continuous improvements in client performance

•be involved in the project manage of software and website development projects as required

•work with the team to scope out and price up new software development projects and develop proposals

•oversee ad-hoc client requirements offering support, advice and solutions

•support the team with new business development activity using existing networks and leveraging new contacts and opportunities

•oversee and take accountability for client delivery and the success of individual client accounts

•attend meetings to present detailed reports to clients with regards to digital marketing activity and results as required

•work alongside Finance to manage client invoicing, the P&L and company accounts

What we’re looking for

•At least 10 years’ experience of digital agency side experience in a senior account management position

•An all-round expert with a strong understanding and knowledge of digital marketing, advertising and web development

•A highly effective communicator with good negotiation skills

•A strong client manager, comfortable conversing with people from different backgrounds or levels of seniority

•Ability to lead a team and mentor a team providing, identifying and providing support and guidance where necessary

•Highly organised, detail-oriented individual and with strong analytical skills

•Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

•Highly self-motivated, passionate about the digital marketing space and continually striving to seek improvements to client performance and delivery

•Must be a fluent English speaker, ability in Arabic is a plus.
