Vehicle Pre Owned sales executive, Plumstead, Southern Suburbs. Overview: Thorp Plumstead, a proud member of the Thorp Motor Group, currently has a vacancy for a Pre-owned Vehicle Sales Executive at the branch in Plumstead

The role of the position will entail (and not be limited) to the following areas of responsibility: Provide sales consultation by analysing the customer’s needs. Be knowledgeable of the product you are selling and regularly read the OEM bulletin boards/communiqués for updates on product or market related issues.

Present and demonstrate the vehicle by doing the six steps walk around. Confirm specific vehicle choice. Record information on Pinnacle at all times. Negotiate to agreement and terms of trade when applicable.

Propose trade–in alternatives. Complete required vehicle sales paperwork. Assit the Sales & F&I manager to complete the necessary paperwork according to dealership policies. Prospect new and existing customers. Deliver excellent customer service & ensure industry CSI targets are met on a monthly basis. Assist (with the help of the Marketing Department) in the marketing & promoting the features of the various vehicles. Build and maintain good relationships with other departments within the group, their manager and staff.

All other related duties Competencies Needed: Proven track record in a Sales environment (experience in the pre-owned motoring industry is required). Matric (minimum). Code 08 driver’s licence. Well organised & team player. Ability to sell & promote the various products on offer at all the branches. Ambition to grow within the company.
