Compliance Officer

The Company

The client is a high profile International financial institution based in Dublin.

The Position

The compliance officer will advise and assist management regarding compliance, relevant legislation, regulations and codes of conduct. Specifically, this will involve carrying out portfolio reviews and supporting institutional teams within the company structure, including assessing, reviewing and advising on MiFID, AML requirements, compliance policies and procedures as well as ad-hoc compliance advice as required. The Compliance Officer will work within a flat compliance team structure reporting to the head of compliance within the institution and will involve significant interaction with various investment and wealth divisions across various jurisdictions.

The Person

Applicants have a minimum 2+ years’ compliance experience in financial services, particularly in areas of asset management, wealth management or stock broking. A good working knowledge of MiFID, familiar with the requirements of consumer protection codes and AML requirements.
