Project Administrator - Atlantis - Market related, Other, West Coast. Our client located in Atlantis, Western Cape does business Incubation and together with its strategic partners aims to unlock opportunities, provide non-financial business development support, facilitate access to technology, contribute to the diffusion of new technologies and innovations, facilitate linkages and create an enabling and nurturing environment for emerging, start up and existing enterprises within the Green Economy.

Term Limited duration contract, ending 30 July 2020 with the option of renewal, dependent on the future funding of the organisation. Purpose of the position. The purpose of the Project Administrator is to provide effective, efficient, high-quality administrative services and support to the Implementation Manager, with reference to the various business development and incubation projects at the organisation. The Project Administrator will be expected to work on her/his own initiative, deliver fantastic customer service, be a natural people-person and have the drive and hunger to succeed.

Reporting to the Implementation Manager this position will be responsible for the following: Provide administrative support to the Implementation Manager and beneficiaries of the projects at the organisation; Maintain and update beneficiary records in the online learning management system Assist in planning, running and following up on training sessions and project events. Keep project documentation up-to-date and gather project statistics. Coordinate assessment procedures and documentation relevant to each project.

Assist with the procurement of resources as and when required. Development of internal reports detailing the project targets, pipeline and progress. Manage enquiries from beneficiaries and project staff. May be requested to perform other related duties as and when required.

Job requirements: A relevant qualification from a recognized tertiary institution. Minimum of five years of administrative working experience; preferable course administration. Work under pressure and fulfil deadlines. Be pro-active and must show initiative. Must be meticulous and able to show attention to detail. Be able to work individually as well as in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English and Afrikaans. Excellent computer literacy; Microsoft Office (word processing and spreadsheets)

Coordination skills. Time management skills. Planning and organising skills. Ability to multitask. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Ability to stay calm under pressure.
