IT Manager, Somerset West, Helderberg. We are currently looking for an IT Manager with experience in the below job functions. The ideal candidate will be able to manage our in-house IT Department and take lead on new developments.

Manage IT Staff. Ensure companies SOP’s are adhered to Ensure regular training and development off Staff. Manage all HR aspects of IT Staff. Creating and implementing developmental plans for IT Staff in line with company objects. Ensure tasks are attended to in timeous fashion. IT Development. Creating continuous business development support plans by researching new technologies. Regular Meetings with Service Providers and planning on future developments, prices, and new systems.

Company Communications. Creating and maintaining Emailer Campaigns. Ensuring timeous delivery of Member communications incl. Flyers/ Specials/ Testimonials. Failover / Special Events Notification Implementation. Sourcing and Implementing Social Media Content. Distributing Social Media Comments to MLO. Business Contingency. Setting up and managing of failover systems.

On day of failover implementing of systems. Companies CI Management. Creating different entities CI and managing of CI’s. Design of business templates and stationery. Online Developments. Creating and implementing of web-based systems (front and back – end). Assisting with web-based system related issues. Researching and Implementation of solutions to improve web-based systems. Ensuring all web-based systems are backed up and save Handle any attacks on web-based systems and restore if needed.

Security: Research and Awareness of Trends in Antivirus and Protection of Information. Ensure Maintenance/ Upgrades etc. of Firewall / Antivirus Programs. Research and Awareness of Back-Up Solution. Hosting Management: Sourcing new Domains for different entities. Management and Adjustments of all parts of dedicated Server.
