The Solutions or Sales Engineer will work predominantly in a client facing role, taking full accountability for the acquisition of new clients and strategically managing existing client portfolios for specific software products. My client creates, designs, engineers and develops unique hardware and software solutions across various industries from retail to FMCG that help businesses solve specific problems, allowing for competitive advantage while offering valuable insights.

Offices located in Durbanville Cape Town. Salary R25K-R30K per month CTC based on experience.

Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent certificate essential. Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering a plus. Min of 2 years’ experience in a client facing role. Sales / account management experience highly advantageous. Experience working at management and Exco level. Experience working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Own reliable transport and travel for business purposes. Competencies: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Self-motivated with ability to use own initiative. Proven ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise. Acute attention to detail. Able to generate ideas/solutions. Able to relate to a wide range of people. Able to sell and close deals. Good administrative skills, excellent planning and presentation abilities. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent presentation skills.

Responsibility: Up to date with applicable events and trends in the automation industry. Build relationships with key people in the industry. Participate in relevant conferences / workshops / roadshows for networking. Identify and attract potential clients for product. Develop and present satisfactory demos to potential clients. Ensure business proposals are set up correctly within SLA. Draft and issue approved license agreements / contracts for new clients

Account Management and maintain stakeholder relationships. Keep clients up to date with any product improvements or updates. Maintain all supplier relationships to ensure deliverables are met. Best prices given and a high level of service delivery is maintained. Maintain all internal relationships. Salary: R30000.
