Junior Mechanical 2D and 3D Draughting Technician, Amanzimtoti, South Suburbs. An industrial refrigeration design and manufacturing company based in the south of Durban is looking to employ a junior mechanical draughting technician who can grow with the company.  The successful candidate Must have a technical background, well organized, accurate and be able to follow instructions.  Basic experience in Solid works (or other 3D software), Autodesk 2D, Excel and other Microsoft software is a requirement as a great percentage of the job description entails working with these programs.  Refrigeration and electrical experience is a bonus.

The successful candidate Must be in possession of a valid South African drivers licence, Must have their own transport to and from work and Must be able to travel to site around the country and across the border from time to time. This job is junior position and is perfect for someone starting their career and willing to grow.  The job will entail computer work as well as physical work on the factory floor when the demand arises.

Mechanical 2D and 3D Draughting Mechanical and electrical drawings/ Drawing changes and revisions to suit assembly challenges. Component ordering, tracking and sourcing. Project costings and tracking. General hands on work.
