National Key Account Manager FMCG Platte kloof, Western Cape R35,000 - R50,000 per month CTC, Other, Northern Suburbs. FMCG Company within the Food industry seeks a National Key Account Manager to grow the product portfolio in selected retail and food service channels.

Minimum required Qualifications and Skills: Suitable degree / diploma. Three to five years FMCG customer management experience. Own reliable transport essential. Frequent National travel is a requirement.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to: Achievement of sales targets and objectives against quarterly and annual targets. Development and implementation of sales and customer growth plans, strategies and action plans. Increase sales and growth in market share through targeted sales and marketing activities. Advising and reporting on channel performance. Development and facilitation of trade marketing activities. Providing sales planning, forecasts and projections to ensure full availability. Build and grow customer relationships. Develop and implement customer promotion and sales activity plans. Responsible for customer reviews at all levels. Manage, measure and review sales and distribution agent’s performance.

Monitor competitor activity. Develop and co-ordinate tailored brand activity plans. Effectively manage trade spend. Identify new opportunities and monitoring market developments in order to identify and assess potential new customers and opportunities. Trading term negotiations.

Skills & Competencies: Business planning, Sound commercial knowledge, Experience in the long-life groceries food sector will be an advantage, Knowledge and demonstrated delivery in challenging trading environment, understanding of channel, pricing and strategy development. Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
