Medical Officer (Full Time), Vredenburg, West Coast. Drs Mabasa and D'Andrea Incorporated trading as MD Inc.  is a Cape Town based company of Specialist Emergency Physicians who share a passion for Quality Emergency Care. We currently have a vacancy for a 180 hour Full Time Medical Officer to start ASAP. Reporting to: Senior Medical Officer (Assistant unit head) Location: Vredenburg (In the Emergency Centre of Life West Coast Private Hospital).

Duties (Includes, but not limited to): To render medical services to the client at the affiliated emergency unit with respect, diligence, professionalism and integrity, and in accordance to this contract between MD Inc and the independent medical practitioner. To personally honour all shifts allocated/chosen to/by him. To manage the patients admitted under EC when on day duty.

Review recent blood results, culture results, Xrays etc. To avail him/herself for 2nd on call duties on the roster when the need arises. To attend all the CME activities arranged by MD Inc for its employees and to remain current in the official advanced life support courses and topics relating to emergency medicine.

Requirements: Registered with the HPCSA as an independent medical Practitioner. MBChB qualification. Other Emergency Medicine related course such as ATLS, ACLS, APLS and/or DipPEC. MPS Medical indemnity insurance. Valid Drivers Licence and own transport. Salary Package: To be discussed during interview
