Senior Data Architect

My client is a leading global provider of Insurance solutions with over 50,000 employees worldwide.

Due to continued expansion at their Dublin headquarter, they are actively seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the development of data architecture to the wider organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible in helping the business take their data management to the next level.

It is a business and technically focused role that will require strong experience and skills.

Responsibilities:

    * Maintain and develop logical data model
    * Identify and gather requirements from stakeholders within the organisation
    * Support physical implementation of logical data model
    * Define data governance strategy across the business
    * Act as an authority for all data architecture decisions

Candidate requirements:

    * Extensive experience in logical data modelling ( relational & dimensional )
    * Proven experience in delivering end to end data warehousing solutions
    * Expert working knowledge of SQL Server databases
    * Experience with at least one data modelling tool ( Erwin, PowerDesigner, etc )
    * Experience with data profiling, data quality, data integration tools a plus
    * Proven project management skills
    * Excellent communication, documentation, presentation and leadership skills
    * Ability to mange multiple tasks simultaneously
