Independent Sales Consultant, Fourways, Johannesburg. FinLite is looking for two independent consultants to join our team of sales and marketing for our training division. They will undergo training even if they do not have a solid background on the industry but must have prior sales experience, ability to work independently and should be able to travel with ease.

Personal skills and traits: Post matric qualification with commerce an advantage. Experience in financial services or banking especially in Wealth Management, Property Financing or investing an added advantage Experience in social media marketing an even more added advantage

The ability to communicate effortlessly with both corporate and direct consumers. Excellent communication skills. Not buckling under pressure and be very target driven. Being computer literate in software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Being calm when dealing with customer complaints and issues. Working well as part of a bigger sales team but also be able to deliver and work independently.

Strong negotiating and selling skills. Be well-groomed and presentable. Have excellent people skills and intuitive to client’s needs. Be a big picture, analytical and critical thinker. Be able to demonstrate personal ambition and commitment to both personal and career development

Duties: Sell the services and solutions that the company/manufacturer offers. Maintain and grow a strong client base. Find new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals. Respond to new and current client base regarding complaints and service enquiries. Be a “brand ambassador” that represents the company’s brand and values.

PS: This opportunity is for a self-driven, independent contractor who can work like an entrepreneur through a profit sharing model. It won't be suitable for someone looking for a 9-5 job. We will however provide a working desk with internet, computer, carry traveling costs to clients plus support and training, and provide some sales leads. Upon a successful 12 months contract with us, you will be eligible to apply for our bursary worth R 21 000 for the Wealth Management NQF 5 or Long Term Insurance NQF 4.
