Pharmacist - Pietermaritzburg, Midlands.

Hire Organization: TD Recruitment. Our client, based in Pietermaritzburg, has a vacancy for a pharmacist. The successful candidate will report to the Pharmacy Manager.

Requirements: Registered with SAPC as a Pharmacist. B. Pharm qualification. Solid experience in a retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities: Accurate dispensing of prescriptions. Delivery a high standard of quality service to all customers. Accuracy and integrity working with other staff members. Deal with all service providers in a professional manner (doctors, suppliers, medical aids). Complete daily functions accurately.

Promote and carry out the image of the pharmacy in a professional manner. Continuous professional development and training of all staff. Keeping abreast with developments in relevant technology and optimal utilisation thereof.

Other skills: Prepared work as part of a team within an existing framework. Must be able to work full days and overtime as required by management which may include shifts and stocktaking. An ability to work under pressure. Only South African citizens will be considered.
