Warehouse Depo Supervisor - Kempton Park - R15 000 - R20 000 Ctc - Contract To Perm, Kempton Park, East Rand. Liaise with the Office staff each day to coordinate the daily activities and requirements of the Hub. Ensure continual hands on training and reinforcement of key procedures to staff delegated to you to ensure continual improvement of floor systems and processes, working towards a zero-error environment.

Day to day management of all warehouse operating procedures, staff and facilities.  Ensuring employees carry out the duties efficiently, and adhere to best practice methods and H&S requirements. Regularly review and update warehouse procedures as and when required to ensure optimal usage of all resources available and storage facilities.

Comply with All Customs and Quarantine regulations: Ensure daily scheduling is completed accurately and effectively, and excess drivers given back up warehouse activities and field leafleting in coordination with Head of Country.

Ensure trucks are well maintained and serviced regularly. Ensure drivers and assistants are suitably well presented in company uniform when they meet customers and follow all procedures.

Shipping of imports and exports is planned and communicated to warehousing, and picking is completed in advance. Ensure inter-depot pallet movements are affected to maximum capacity and minimum time spent in warehouse, between depots. Ensure Fleet vehicles are compliant with branded, serviced, maintained as required, and monitor the administration of all parking tickets. Review and monitor fuel card usage.

Responsibility: Matric, Relevant Qualification in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management. IOSH Managing Safely or similar H&S qualification 5 years proven and significant experience in a supervisory or team leader role, in a similar Import & Export environment – Non-Neg.

Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to motivate teams. Knowledge of warehouse management in an international environment. Strong customer centric focus and highly developed empathy with customer. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, and able to work with other departments and management levels within the business.

Salary: RR15 000 - R20 000 CTC
