Graphic Designer Intern, Durbanville, Northern Suburbs. We have an exciting opportunity for a recently graduated Graphic Designer who is looking to gain relevant work experience within their field of study. The successful candidate will help create consistent and innovative design artwork for a wide range of print and digital media, creating logos, presentations and web-based layouts.

Note this is an 8 month contract. Salary is R10 000 per month. Offices based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town

Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent essential. Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design. Good knowledge in graphic production process. Good Photography Skills. Computer Literate: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Office. Own reliable transport with a valid code 8 drivers license

Competencies: Strong Planning and organising skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Work well under pressure with strict deadlines. Flexibility and ability to adapt easily to change. Able to work independently as well as in a team. Initiative, Innovative and an excellent eye for design. Proactive and up to date with current industry trends. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Verbal and Written)

Responsibility: Design and supply accurate and high quality artwork in the correct usable format. Manage time spent on designs. Make sure that the design falls in line with the required specifications. Assist stakeholders with all aspects of designs and offer advice/assistance where required. Conceptualize and do research before starting the design process. Create designs within the required time frames. Track and update all projects on Smartsheet. Salary: R10 000
