Warehouse Manager, Verulam, North Suburbs. Vacancy Date: 26 June 2020. Position: Warehouse Manager. Reporting in Durban. Head office – Verulam. Salary Negotiable depends on working experience

Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate. 3 to 5 years working experience as Warehouse Manager. Microsoft word and excel Knowledge. Valid Drivers Licence. Hours of Work. Your normal hours of work will be from Monday to Friday flexible working hours.

Duties and Responsibilities: Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies. Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods. Checking orders, trace missing stock, code sequencing in the warehouse, the control of staff, stock control & counting.

Handling Sales Orders and Purchase Orders. Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets are met. Have a clear understanding of the companys policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.

Co-Ordinate the use of computerized systems where necessary. Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate. Monitoring staff performance and progress.

Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.

Report any maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment. Monitoring unload vehicles and inspect damaged good. Checking quantity and upload records in system. Identify products and product move.

Storage – stock location. Oder Picking – provide info to picker and checking order according to requirements. Stock Control – Maintain scheduled stock count and update stock level. Manage control and motivate warehouse staff – Plan staff daily work and control and check when work in process.

Loading and offloading. Fully responsible for the warehouse and stock. Ensure that all alarm and alarm zones are proper activated when you locking up the warehouse.
