Internal Operations Manager - Zambia - R40 000 to R50 000, Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands.
Our client is a fast-growing financial technology company operating in Zambia, Tanzania and South Africa, that delivers personal lending products through online, mobile phone and branch channels.
Our client has a vacancy for an Internal Operations Manger in Zambia, to start on 1 July 2020. The ideal candidate must combine must be a system-orientated people manager, with a focus on productivity and efficiency. Strong skills in process-management, technology and analytics are required. A working knowledge of financial lending products would help.
The successful candidate will be required to relocate to Lusaka, Zambia, for minimum two years.
Minimum Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a relevant operational role, preferably with customer service and process design exposure.
Duties: Departmental oversight. Direct manager for call center, recoveries, quality control and filing departments. People and performance management. Process improvement & system implementation. Improving existing processes through introduction of systems.
Scoping and implementing the migration of contact center workflows from Excel to the internal loans administration system. Driving continuous improvements.
Other: Being part of the executive team of the Zambian business. Selected involvement in branch operations and marketing as required.
