Brief job description: Responsible for assisting the Financial Manager with the Financial Management of the portfolio under management including: Responsible for the full financial function of the Property portfolios under management. Overseeing the maintenance and the reconciliation of the respective general ledgers. Performing all month-end and year-end procedures. Ensure that the financial records are accurate, complete, valid and classified correctly all the time.

Review of the monthly management packs where necessary. Review and authorisation of balance sheet recons. Review and authorisation of vat submissions. Ad hoc review of portfolio provisional income statements. Ensure that the financial records are accurate, complete, valid and classified correctly all the time. Overseeing the submission of all statutory returns. Maintaining other financial control functions. Overview review of Year to date results, versus budget, and or previous projections. Due to the high demands of the financial management  position, there would be a need to work overtime where the need arises.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications: B.com (hons) plus SAICA articles -non neg. Case Ware experience – advantageous Tax experience. People management experience. Honest High attention to detail Ability to deal with high volume of transactions. Assertive and effective communication. Sensitive to client and staff requirements and problems. Ability to create a professional office environment. Organization and planning skills.

Remuneration: R 35 000 - R 40 000 per month TCTC dependant on exp.
