Job Description


The Department of Academic Family Medicine (DAFM) is proud to announce that it is expanding and restructuring while updating its curriculum according to the Triple C Competency Based Guidelines as described by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. As such we have several exciting pat-time contract opportunities for certified Family Medicine practitioners interesting in teaching, administration and research. This part-time contract opportunity encompass leadership, education and administrative roles within the department. The following three-year contract opportunity is available:

Clinician Teacher. This clinician teacher contractor will have Family Medicine teaching responsibilities in the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. It is hoped that this clinician family medicine teacher will also provide clinical services in obstetrics and practice full scope Family Medicine. This position would include a balance of clinical education with learners, postgraduate and undergraduate teaching and scholarly work for eight half days per week and have on-call responsibilities.
