Blouberg, West Coast, Table View Law firm requires a Junior Litigation Secretary for dynamic young attorney.

Minimum requirements Applicant must: Have between 2-5 years’ secretarial experience within a litigation department of a law firm; Be able to communicate fluently in English; Ability to type accurately and at reasonably high speeds; Have full - MS Office proficiency; A valid driver’s license; Be able to deliver quality work under pressure and on occasion be prepared to work beyond normal working hours.

Duties and responsibilities: This position requires an applicant to inter alia: Engage with clients on various levels; Provide full secretarial and administrative support service to Attorneys: Preparing and maintaining client hard copy & digital files; Attending to Attorney’s diary, files and time management; Prepare month-end billing, client invoicing on AJS. Past experience with AJS legal accounting will be an advantage although not essential; Typing of Magistrate’s and High Court Applications and Pleadings generally; This position is best suited for a communicative, outgoing, diligent and trustworthy person.
