As the Senior Sales Manager with Transplace, you have direct access to an ideal blend of logistical services and solutions to offer existing and prospective customers solutions to meet their transportation and logistics challenges. In this senior sales role, you will be responsible for identifying, soliciting, creating, developing, building, closing and owning a robust opportunity pipeline in the following areas:
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Lead Logistics Provider services/TMS SaaS Technology
 International Services
 Truckload and Less than Truckload Brokerage Operations and Capacity Provision Services
In addition you will be in daily contact with potential customers of various sizes, building relationships, assessing their needs and solving their problems with tailored solutions created in synergy with the Transplace Solution Design Team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
 Manage customer interactions: Prospecting, qualifying, making customer calls, cold calling, and closing deals. Meeting with potential customers face to face.
 Focus on selling Transplace core products: 3PL/managed services,TMS SaaS Technology, international services, truckload and less than truckload broker operations /capacity provision services
 Participate in the customer on-boarding process to ensure a smooth transition.
 Provide weekly reports on prospect activity, lead generation and account meeting status, following prescribed Transplace sales methodology.
 Maintain complete, timely and accurate representations of all opportunities within Transplace’s single system of record- Salesforce.com.
 Be able to make an impact within three to six months.
