Metal dental technician (NOC: 3223)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $25.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Bonus, Other Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Calgary South West, Alberta (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure by the provincial or territorial governing body
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Commercial dental laboratory
Area of Technical Expertise: Plastering, Waxing-up, Casting, Polishing
Area of Specialization: Crowns and bridges
Laboratory Bench Worker Specific Skills: Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases, Mould wax over packed moulds
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail
Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing
