Home Support Worker (Support Services Attendant)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time, On Call, Shift, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $15.43 to $17.46 Hourly for 15 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: St. Catharines, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Type of Clientele: Persons with a disability, Female, Male
Specific Skills: Prepare, cook and serve meals, Launder clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning, Provide personal care, Assist clients in water (i.e. pool), Administer bedside and personal care, Feed or assist in feeding, Change non-sterile dressings, Collect specimens, Aid clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Work Location Information: Various locations
Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Valid driver's licence
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
