A high-end furniture gallery on the Upper East side is seeking a motivated, organized and experienced Sales and Showroom Manager.
Ideal candidate will have strong sales ability and excellent customer service as well as strong administrative skills, will have a minimum of 4 years experience in high-end gallery sales and a working knowledge of furniture production, purchasing and working with interior designers, architects and clients in the trade.
This position requires a personable and reliable, self-motivated individual who can work independently as well under the direction of the President of the company.
Responsibilities of the Showroom Manager include working with clients and vendors from start to finish in custom made-to-order furniture, have strong communication skills, oversee and maintain the gallery website, possess efficient computer and office skills, basic Quick Books, Excel, MS Office, (experience with ArtSystems a plus but not required) and basic Photoshop skills.
This is a Full-Time salaried position with Health Insurance and 401k benefits.
