IT Technician, Other, Northern Suburbs. Mango5 is one of the top BPO Outsource Centres in South Africa, offering outsourced services to local and international clients. We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. 
Duties and Responsibilities: To provide 1st and 2nd level desktop support Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues Log calls with external suppliers Respond to queries from staff and help resolve any hard or software related problems Maintain the helpdesk by updating and closing tickets within SLA Administer hardware maintenance for desktop IT related equipment Assist in maintaining the operating system and security software utilised on the network. Escalating more complex support issues to IT Manager Identify hardware and software solution Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues  Installing and configuring hardware and software Following up with end users to ensure the problem is resolved Remotely talking end users through a series of actions to resolve a problem Managing multiple tickets at one time  
Skills and Requirements: Strong knowledge of Windows 7 Basic understanding of Windows Server (Active Directory) Qualified A+ and N+ Certification or relevant experience Own transport Good communications skills Willing to work rotational shifts  
Working Hours (rotational shifts). Day Shift: 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm. Night Shift: 3pm - 12am (switches to 4pm - 1am during daylight savings). Weekends: 8am - 5pm or 3pm - 12am (switches to 4pm - 1am during day light savings).
