Position: Supervisor X2. Location: Vanderbijlpark. Contract: Fixed Term.
Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12, Computer literacy, Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality or equivalent Qualification 2 years’ experience in Hospitality Environment, 1 year supervisor or management experience in hospitality or similar environment.
Technical and Behavioural Competencies: Excellent customer service skills. Computer literacy. Excellent communication skills. Leadership skills. Planning and organising skills. Ability to work under pressure and extended working hours.
Key Performance Areas Amongst others include: Move throughout the café areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met. Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine that proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety. Checking in on customers to enquire about food quality and service. Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked. Managing the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with staff.
